The purpose of this capstone course is to help students integrate past learning, both from social work courses and the liberal arts foundation, into a generalist practice framework. The interrelated nature of policy, practice and research is emphasized. As part of the process, students are required to demonstrate an understanding of generalist practice through the completion of a comprehensive and integrated group project that includes a multilevel practice solution to a hypothetical situation. Students' transition to professional practice is the focus of the course. Prerequisites: SWK421 and SWK422. 3 credits.
