Introduction to Oracle Administration and Management is a five-day hands-on course designed to provide Oracle professionals with an in-depth understanding of the basic features of Oracle including object-orientation, partitioning and advanced Oracle features for the Internet. This course is an introductory course for Oracle DBA ?. The goal is this course is to cover the Oracle architecture and internal mechanisms such that the student is able to perform basic DBA tasks such as database creation, startup and shutdown, and database management. The course also covers Oracle networking basics and the Oracle utility programs. Hands-on exercises are used to demonstrate each feature and the student will gain first-hand experience in the key Oracle DBA concepts. This course is taught as a preparatory course for the Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) program.

Students will learn the basics of creating Web pages and Web sites using Macromedia Dreamweaver 4.0. Students will understand basic concepts of posting pages on the Internet and the World Wide Web, and will learn how to navigate in the Dreamweaver work environment. Students will create a basic web page by typing text and importing graphics, use several methods to import text, format characters and paragraphs, define and apply HTML styles to speed up repetitive formatting, add links within a site, use images as links, e-mail links, and be introduced to format tables. This course is intended for those with some web page creation background or HTML background and for those who are new webmasters.

Students will build on their existing knowledge of creating Web pages and Web sites using Macromedia Dreamweaver 4.0. Students will understand basic concepts of using a site window, site map and managing site files. Students will learn how to publish a site and upload a site to a remote web server. Students will need to be familiar with the Dreamweaver work environment in order to create complex table structures, frames to assist the viewer in navigation, Navigation bars containing simple rollovers, Style sheets for advanced formatting (CSS styles within a page), Image maps for links and inserting anchors with a web page. Students will add meta tags to their web site in order to make your site visible to automatic search engine spiders identification.

Students will learn advanced techniques for creating Websites using Macromedia Dreamweaver 4.0. Student will be able to work with libraries to manage repeating site elements, create dynamic user-interface elements, including simple rollovers and complex navigation bars; create layers using a number of techniques, and manage the size, position, stacking order, and visibility of layers; combine layers with behaviors to provide additional visual feedback for a viewer navigating a site; work with timeliness to create basic animations and complex time-based sequences on your site pages; as well as slicing images to speed up site loading. Students will understand advanced concepts of web site design, creation, organization, and versatility. This course is intended for those with web page creation background, HTML background, and comfort with Dreamweaver who are webmasters.

Students will learn the Intermediate and advanced features of creating Web pages and Web sites using Macromedia Dreamweaver with cold fusion. Students who know how to navigate in the Dreamweaver work environment will understand basic concepts of transferring web files to a server. Students will work with site navigation, Frames, simple and complex table structures, images, image maps, links, layers, basic and advances style formatting and CSS file. AS well as introduction to adding database structures and forms into a web site. This course is intended for those with some web page creation background or HTML background and for those want to learn Dreamweaver 4.0, plus are new webmasters on a cold fusion web server. Prerequisite: Netscape composer, introduction Frontpage or Dreamweaver 4.0 Introduction

Students who are already familiar with the fundamentals of JavaScript programming will learn how to develop scripts that are modular, easily maintainable, and compatible with multiple browsers. Students will be able to debug and maintain JavaScript code libraries, develop Web pages that display different content or execute different code based on the version of JavaScript that is present on the Web client, create custom objects with custom methods and properties, create, read to, write from, and delete single- and multiple-dimensional arrays, store, retrieve, and delete cookies, and write JavaScript code to communicate with Java applets, ShockWave movies, ActiveX controls, and server applications.

This hands on XML training course covers all the subjects you need to learn in order to use XML with today's databases and web browsers. Topics covered include XML syntax and parsers, DTDs, Schemas, XSL and XSLT, using the DOM and SAX to program XML and transform data. Emphasis is centered on getting XML to work in today's E-commerce and B2B market place. The class emphasizes hands on practice and provides many examples of XML programming using Java, VB, and JavaScript. Prerequisites: Basic HTML knowledge, plus experience with programming or scripting languages, such as Java or JavaScript. Attendance at the Course "Web Developer Bootcamp with JavaScript" is sufficient to meet prerequisites for this Course. Knowledge and experience with databases is helpful, but not required.

This hands-on ASP Programming class introduces students to the development of dynamic web pages using Active Server Pages (ASP). Participants are introduced to the fundamentals of ASP including the use of VBScript and JScript, the Server Object Model, the use of components such as the Ad Rotator and Content Rotator, and the use of the ADO component to provide data-driven content for web pages. Intensive hands-on exercises provide students practice developing a functional web site featuring dynamic content.

This two-day course reviews ASP.NET, which is Microsoft's new solution for web-based applications and web pages. It starts with a quick review of the new .NET framework and how ASP.NET fits into this new architecture. Creating and managing web pages is then discussed, and, finally, creating applications that operate over the Internet.
