During this first student teaching placement, student teachers will do an approximately 5-week practica under the supervision of a licensed teacher in an approved setting under the guidance of a college instructor. During this placement, one of the Work Samples will be completed. The student teaching experience and the Work Samples are to be completed to the standards of the Oregon Administrative Rules 584-017-0180 Practica and Student Teaching and 584-017-0185 Evidence of Effectiveness which prescribe the length and some of the substance of this experience. This includes instruction on the 10-day lesson plans to be taught during the student teaching experience.
