An introduction to the law which governs the agents of the Criminal Justice System. Students will learn important sources of the law of criminal procedure and the principles and concepts used in the Criminal Justice System such as probable cause, reasonable suspicion, the exclusionary rule, arrest, search and seizure, stop and frisk, plain view, confessions, and admissions. A modified case approach will be used to acquaint students with how legal concepts are applied to specific fact situations.
