This course develops the skills needed to write with clarity, precision and style. Taught entirely in Spanish, the material emphasizes the proper use of accents and the correct use of grammar. Class discussion and practice is aimed at overcoming general grammatical and stylistic problems while individual attention will be given to specific problems through student compositions, their correction and revision. Students will expand their vocabulary and use more sophisticated grammatical structures and stylistic techniques to achieve greater ease, fluency and correctness in written expression.
