Special Projects in Journalism or Photography is one to four hours credit. Projects may be in journalism or photography and require instructor approval prior to enrollment. NOTE: Students entering the college with an ACT Math Sub-Test Score below 19 are required to take the appropriate assessment test(s) and demonstrate appropriate knowledge of mathematics for course placement before entering a mathematics course above Basic Math.

It also includes the study of ratio and proportion, percent, measurement, irrational numbers, real numbers, and simple equations. Prerequisite: Appropriate score on placement test(s).
