    A supervised on-the-job training experience in an appropriate approved setting: college classroom, public education, industry, or business entity. This internship requires 40 hours of realtime. The student must be enrolled in and/or have completed Realtime II (CR 2213) with the ability to realtime at the rate of 180-200 wpm with 95 percent accuracy on a 5-minute dictation take in proper form. Three question and answer 140 wpm 5-minute dictation takes, two jury charge at 130 wpm 5-minute dictation takes, two literary at 120 wpm 5-minute dictation takes all with 95 percent accuracy must be passed in order to continue to CR 2313. The Captioning Environment and Captioner's Tools and Technologies units will be covered. These two units cover the General Requirements and Minimum Standards (GRAMS), which NCRA requires.     Caption III will incorporate the development of captioning skills through the access of Stenograph University Online (SUO). Trouble Management for Captioners and Professional Development for Captioners units will be covered. These two units cover the General Requirements and Minimum Standards (GRAMS), which NCRA requires. To receive an "A", the student must (1) write a five-minute, 200 wpm literary take with 1.4 syllabic density at 96 percent accuracy, and, (2) be able to write a 30-minute broadcast program with a goal TER of 96 percent or higher.     The captioning internship allows the student to apply learned skills and knowledge to real world/simulated captioning applications as available. Lab fee: $7.00.
