The student must be enrolled in and/or have completed Realtime II (CR 2213) with the ability to realtime at the rate of 180-200 wpm with 95 percent accuracy on a 5-minute dictation take in proper form. Trouble Management for Captioners and Professional Development for Captioners units will be covered. These two units cover the General Requirements and Minimum Standards (GRAMS), which NCRA requires. To receive an "A", the student must (1) write a five-minute, 200 wpm literary take with 1.4 syllabic density at 96 percent accuracy, and, (2) be able to write a 30-minute broadcast program with a goal TER of 96 percent or higher.
