Upon completion, students will demonstrate a proficiency in utilizing ESL methodology, managing an ESL classroom and in developing and adapting supplementary materials for ESL instructon. Upon completion students will be able to discuss the issues concerning the development, the effectiveness, current trends, and future projections for bilingual/multicultural education programs in the U.S. Students will also develop a personal educational philosophy regarding cultural and linguistic diversity.
