3 s.h. Examines selected writings of women writers and their relationship to the natural world. Readings in memoir, personal essay, fiction, and poetry will address the varied social, cultural, and historical influences on "reading" the natural environment. Theoreticaland critical text will complement the courses emphasis of such topics as ecofeminism and environmental justice. ( LA) Prerequisites: COMP 100, and LITR 100 or LITR 150.
