The Learner will gain an understanding through critical analysis of such topics and themes as: senses and perception; memory; language, cognition; emotion and behavior; human development; health and stress; personality; pathology; therapies and treatment. A main focus of this course is on the scientific method, which allows the Learner to evaluate and interpret a mixture of speculation, logical deduction, and empirical data collection.
