Provides the student with the opportunity to synthesize and integrate concepts and practices learned in earlier courses. It is taken by students having senior status who are seeking a major in health and wellness. The initial project must be approved by the department chairperson/advisor at least two semesters before graduation. Students may elect (1) to serve an "internship" with a minimum of 20 hours weekly spent volunteering in an appropriate facility, or (2) to prepare and present a scientific paper to students and faculty. Prerequisite: completion of all health and wellness courses required for a major or minor.
