Students will customize forms with user input items, list items, and radio groups, and modify data access from an object-oriented database by creating event-related triggers. Students will broaden their Developer form-building skills using Project Builder to manage application files and multiple transactions across modules; create multiple-form applications; and practice enhancing applications with custom menus, reports, and charts. This course helps students prepare for the Oracle Developer Forms II certification exam. (3 contact hours: 1 lecture, 2 lab)

Prerequisite: ITDB 1425, ITON 1205; or permission of instructor This course instructs students in advanced database administrative skills, including networking, backup and recovery, and transferring data. The course helps students prepare for the Oracle Database Administrator Fundamentals II exam. (3 contact hours: 1 lecture, 2 lab)

Prerequisite: ITDB 1406 or permission of instructor This course provides students with various database administrative skills, such as installing, maintaining, backing up, and recovering a Microsoft SQL Server database. Students will also learn how to perform other administrative tasks including configuring and troubleshooting. This course helps students prepare for Microsoft SQL Server certification. (3 contact hours: 1 lecture, 2 lab)

Prerequisite: ITDB 2425 or permission of instructor This course introduces students to the various skills needed for optimizing and tuning an Oracle database including good initial database design, troubleshooting, and performance related issues. Students will obtain hands on experience with Oracle tools, such as Oracle Enterprise Manager and STATSPACK. The course helps students prepare for the Oracle Database Performance Tuning exam. (3 contact hours: 1 lecture, 2 lab)

Prerequisite: ITCS 1105, ITCS 1820, ITCS 2010, ITDB 1410, ITDB 2405; or permission of instructor This course serves as the capstone to the Oracle Database Applications Developer Concentration by providing students with practical experience that integrates previously studied skills and concepts. Students will use SQL, PL/SQL, Program Units, HTML and Java along with SQL*Plus, the Developer suite of products and the Internet to design, develop, and implement an object relational database management system and data warehouse. (8 contact hours: 2 lecture, 6 lab)

This course is designed for students who have little or no computer experience or who have not used a computer for a number of years. The course emphasizes the beginning use of computers and includes the fundamentals of computer operations, creating a simple document using a word processing software package, and basic Internet and e-mail usage. This course provides an overview of microcomputer concepts and introductory training in the use of microcomputer hardware and software. It includes the fundamentals of using operating system and productivity software as well as Internet tools and services. Either ITIS 1005 Computers and Information Processing or ITIS 1000 serves as a prerequisite for other microcomputer courses. Students who have taken ITIS 1005 should not take this course. This computer literacy course provides a fundamental knowledge of computers and their role in today's society. Students will study computer equipment, computer software, and related terminology. The course also provides introductory training in the use of computer hardware and software, including the fundamentals of using operating system and productivity software, Internet tools and services, as well as an introduction to an e-Learning environment using Blackboard. The selected software studies in this course includes the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Apps (aka G Suite). Either ITIS 1000 Basic Computer Skills or ITIS 1005 serves a s a prerequisite for other IT & CS courses. This course meets the Transfer Assurance Guides (TAG: OBU003) and Career Technical Assurance Guides (CTAG: CTIT001) requirements for Ohio's Articulation and Transfer Policy
