(1 to 15 sem. hrs.) Supervised off-campus work experience in mental health-rated job; site and schedule must be determined by student with Psychology Department approval. Credit is given only if work is monitored by a Heidelberg psychology faculty member. PREREQUISITES: Open to juniors and seniors. PSY209; also PSY206 is recommended if internship is for children. PSY207 is recommended for sites concerned with adolescents. See Psychology Department Chair for permission to register, and for a list of internship opportunities. If Psy 370 is selected for the Junior Experience requirement, then a maximum of 12 additional credits of Psy 370 may be taken.
