(3 sem. hr.) Field study projects involve a student team who works with a faculty supervisor on a business problem of profit or nonprofit clients. Issues will vary depending on the project and come from broad areas such as business strategy, organization structure and control systems, work relationships and processes, market information, etc. This course, the first of two, involves in-class preparation and introduces the student to the concepts of team management, client relationships, interviewing, using library resources, questionnaire design, the written report and oral presentation.
