Participants will learn to apply the therapeutic recreation process in a school setting and develop appropriate recreation goals for Individualized Educational Plans. Curricula to support therapeutic recreation in the schools will be identified, as well as the roles therapeutic recreation specialists can play to advocate for and deliver recreation as a related service in the schools.
