Helps students understand how some management and organizational systems represent barriers to quality. Explores how approaches to quality differ across the international business community. Capstone course that integrates material from earlier core courses and applies theories and models of strategic management to analyze real-world data, solve complex business problems, and analyze business case studies. Part of a two-semester course of study aimed at providing students an opportunity to acquire in-depth knowledge in a specialized area. Allows students to select a faculty member willing to serve as their thesis advisor. Requires students to identify a research topic and conduct background research to include the preparation of an introduction and bibliography.
