Continuation of GERM 1021. Continued development of language skills introduced in GERM 101 and 102. Emphasis on comprehension (listening and reading) and speech production (speaking and writing). Prerequisites: GERM 1021 or one year of high school German or equivalent. The course supports the development of language proficiency of students in the humanities and social sciences and it considers how the United States and German-speaking countries have influenced and interacted with each other.
