4 hours A survey of injury/illness factors, appropriate care from onset through referral, follow-up and rehabilitation, and prevention programs of athletic injuries/illness, including psychological, environmental conditions, drug-use considerations, administrative components, health care and counseling information, professional discipline information of an athletic training program, and the history and structure of the N.A.T.A. This course is designed for Athletic Training majors. Lecture and laboratory.
