Prerequisites: Completion of all 300 level SW courses. Co-requisites: SW 432 and SW 451.

This course introduces students to macro-level practice theory and skills necessary for competent and ethical practice. Topics include community organizing, development, and resourcebuilding with a focus on the rural and urban communities of New Mexico and the Southwest. Emphasis is placed on macro practice with Hispanic, American Indian and other oppressed communities. Prerequisites: Completion of all 300 level SW courses and SW 465. Co-requisites: SW 434 and SW 452.
