ECE 490: Student Teaching in Early Childhood Education

Supervised fifteen-week teaching experience with young children completed in two separate settings: one setting must be with children birth to 5 years of age (infant/toddler, preschool, or kindergarten setting); one setting must be with children 6 to 8 years of age (first- or second-grade setting). Prerequisite: Completion of all other ECE and ESP course work except ECE 494. Must have a B or better in ECE 299; Must have a B or better in ECE 480. Corequisite: ECE 494. 12 credits.
