Laboratory or research work on a project that demonstrates the student’s ability to apply his or her knowledge of physics. A 30- minute talk on the project required. Prerequisites: Nine credits of upper-division physics courses and consent of instructor. 1-3 credits.

Introduction to psychology including introductory treatment of sensation-perception-cognition, physiological psychology, learning, personality, development, social psychology, assessment, and history. 3 credits.

Critical examination of research methods in psychology, including experimental and quasi-experimental designs, correlational methods, clinical research techniques, natural observation, survey methods, and the phenomenological approach. Prerequisites: PSY 101 and 210. 3 credits.
