Introduction to management of the elementary classroom by surveying literature in supervising psychosocial environment, physical environment, curriculum implementation, fundamentals of classroom control, discipline, and monitoring of student learning. Prerequisites: ICE 450, acceptance to Elementary Education Program and completion of ICE 451. 3 credits.

Introduces standards and resources of elementary school curriculum and assessment and supports students to develop, implement, and assess interdisciplinary units developed in school contexts using curriculum standards, student learning, and school resources.
