MATH 103: Game Theory
4.00 Credits
The University of Montana-Western
Game theory studies how individuals make decisions when their actions affect each other. Topics to be covered in this course may include dominance, Nash equilibrium, mixed-strategy Nash equilibrium, the Prisoner's dilemma, oligopolies, auctions, bargaining, cooperative games, and evolutionary game theory. Upon successful completion of this course the student should be able to formulate and analyze game-theoretic models for various economic, political, social, and biological phenomena. Prereq: MATH 007 grade C- or higher, or meet one Math Proficiency standard above, or c/i.
