Music systems, instruments and art-ists representing various indigenous peoples over seven continents are examined through cultural, social, religious, ceremonial, and performance traditions. The Symphony prepares and performs orchestral literature of the past and present, and requires intensive rehearsal and public performances. To qualify, students must audition and supply their own musi-cal instrument. This course may be repeated for a total of three credits. Students receiving financial aid or veterans benefits should check with the Financial Aid Office before repeating this course.
