Guidance of an apprentice in direct relationship to field work. Apprenticeships may be done in the following areas: Associational, chaplaincy, pastoral, church secretarial, missions and other approved areas. Prerequisite: 96 hours completed. Note: Apprenticeships are not paid positions; the student learns under the supervision of a qualified staff member. Assignment of apprenticeships is made strictly by the SBU faculty member involved, not by the student or a particular church.
