WGST 2390: Latin American Women's Culture

(same as Spanish 2390). Examines Latin American women across class, race, ethnicity and age, as producers of high and popular culture. We will be looking at how women have been seen in art, religion, popular and high culture and the ways in which women have seen themselves over time. No knowledge of Spanish required.
