A comprehensive study of the history and development of Islamic Art from its birth in the seventh century to the present time. The course is designed to explain basic characteristics of Islamic Art through major architectural monuments, painting, calligraphy and other forms of art. This course meets the graduation requirement for General Education Outcome 2: Computer Literacy.
