We will discuss the direct and indirect evidence for global warming and evaluate the importance of human factors. Topics include climate modeling, a discussion of heat and its measurement, ozone destruction, acid rain, pollution, and the true costs and benefits of different energy alternatives.This course will provide you with the facts and tools needed for informed participation in the global warming debate as both scientist and concerned citizen.
