This course will give you ample opportunity to get comfortable with your computer. Instruction will start with using the on/off switch and what to do with your computer mouse. You will also learn about different computer parts (called components) as well as system configuration (how it is set up) in easy-to-understand language. An introduction to Windows software will start your computer journey.

Intermediate Word will include how to set up and format numbered/ bullets lists, setting up tabs and tables and an explanation of when to use tabs vs. tables, adding dots to your tabs as in a Table of Contents, importing and manipulating graphics, using built-in templates, creating an auto correct entry so the computer types for you, more advanced formatting of your typing, using Format Painter to save time, and more. time, and more. A pleasant introduction to electronic spreadsheets. You will be introduced to the Excel environment and learn to type, edit, and finalize a simple spreadsheet. Learn terminology and commonly used math formulas to cal- culate your numbers and how to double-check the accuracy of these formulas. Editing skills will be developed to format your numbers the way you want them to be, fix some basic printing problems, save your spreadsheet from unknown computer demons, learn about fill series, and more.
