Introduction to research methods in the social/behavioral sciences. The course will cover reading and critiquing original research articles and methods of research design from sociology, criminal justice and psychology. Qualitative and quantitative research designs - experiments, survey research, interviews/focus groups and evidence-based practice designs will be explored.
