The student is required to spend seven (7) hours per week in an agency approved by the Coordinator of Gerontology. The field experience is supplemented by a regularly scheduled integrative seminar. Students seeking the Minor must accumulate 100 hours. Applications with approval must be on file in the Gerontology Program prior to enrollment. Prerequisite: Completion of six (6) credit hours in Gerontology coursework. (Offered Fall, Spring) 5 credits
