Students will learn basic skills pertaining to fall activities and become acquainted with outdoor recreation areas as well as the history of Aroostook County and the people who live here. Students will be introduced to the proper use of the necessary equipment in order to try specific skills in the field. Students will also be introduced to and practice sound outdoor ethics/etiquette which will benefit both the outdoors and those who use it.

This includes governmental codes and regulations, ways to develop company safety and related procedures in areas as lockout/tagout, machine guarding, hazard communications, personal protective equipment and recordkeeping. An OSHA 30-hour Outreach Program Certification card will be available at the completion of the program.
