3 class hours Studies fundamental fluid power concepts as they apply to industrial hydraulic systems. Hands-on lab exercises reinforce key principles necessary for a practical understanding of industrial fluid power technology. Emphasis is placed on recognizing and understanding schematic symbols as well as interconnecting hydraulic components to form a working system using schematic diagrams. Design, construction and maintenance of fluid power devices and systems are also covered.
