Introduction to three foundational disciplines of the information technology age: electrical and computer engineering, computer science, and management information systems (MIS). Students will be provided with an overview of the three disciplines and how they interact to form a new discipline-information systems and technology. This course will be cross-listed with ENEE 1001 and MANG 1001. Students taking CSCI 1001 cannot receive credit for ENEE 1001 and MANG 1001. Also, this course may not be used to satisfy UNO's general degree requirement for computer literacy and may not be taken for credit in the Electrical Engineering program.
