Students who do not have significant public service experience should take this course in conjunction with their internship. This course is the first part of a two-semester sequence for students who are nearing the completion of their MPA degree and who choose a project instead of a thesis. The class is organized as a seminar in which students share their experiences and critique and help each other work on projects. In Capstone I each student will produce a research design for the capstone project, including a thorough review and analysis of relevant literature.
