Prerequisite: FL182 or three years of high school Japanese and approval of the instructor This course is a continuation of FL 182, the study of Japanese language and culture, emphasizing the sounds, vocabulary, grammar, usage and readings of the Japanese language. The course concentrates on developing further advanced conversational skills by increasing vocabulary and variety of sentence patterns. Cultural understanding will be stressed also.
