Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in at least one other college course in which exams are taken This course offers students an opportunity to explore their own learning styles and to develop appropriate strategies for improving test performance through improved learning procedures. Emphasis will be on practical application of the learned strategies to courses in which the students are concurrently enrolled. 1 hr./wk. Learning Strategies courses offer students opportunities to acquire the thinking and learning skills needed to be a successful learner, including reading textbooks, taking notes, organizing information and preparing for tests.
