(3 Credit Hours) Developmental Psychology, from the life span perspective, tells the story of human development from conception to death. This class will convey up-to-date research in the biological, cognitive, and social processes in relation to each stage of life. Human development is relevant to current career and social issues that all adults face and is especially relevant to those who will work with children, adolescents, families and the elderly. The overall goal of the class is to present development at every stage of life span from a growth perspective. Diversity is emphasized, as human experience is shaped by the particulars of an individual's culture, gender, and socioeconomic status.

(3 Credit Hours) This is an informal discussion/lecture course designed to present, in a non-threatening way, current information about human sexuality in the following areas: 1) Biological/Developmental; 2) Psychological; and 3) Social/Cultural. Specific topics will include, but are not limited to, gender differences in behavior and attitude, variations in expression, dysfunction, and STDs. Special emphasis will be placed on allowing students the opportunity to clarify their personal values on a wide range of sexual issues. F, S

(3 Credit Hours) An introduction to the literature and history of the Old Testament. Provides the student with an understanding of Hebrew literary forms. The record of the history of Israel is related to world history contemporary to Old Testament times. Upon completion, the student will have a good basic understanding of the chronology of the Old Testament. D
