Emphasis will be placed on force systems in two and three dimensions; equilibrium, structures; distributed forces; moments of inertia, friction and work.     The course provides a foundation in the principles of Geometric Tolerancing. It begins with the terminology of Geometric Tolerancing and proceeds through Form Tolerancing and finally Location Tolerancing. Form tolerances are discussed and applied to cylindrical and non-cylindrical parts and features. Emphasis is placed on position tolerancing since this is the most common location tolerance.
