AUT 129: Engine Dynamometer Testing

The purpose of this course is to provide a student with an in-depth study in testing a high performance engine on a water brake dynamometer. Brake horsepower, torque, Brake Specific Fuel Consumption, and volumetric efficiency are the main topics of discussion. Correcting the readings to Society of Automotive Engineers standards will be covered. Dynamometer test engines will be supplied by the College.
