Topics include: primary scrub on specialty surgical procedures; participation as a surgical team conducting ophthalmic, orthopedic, thoracic, vascular, cardiovascular, and neurosurgery procedures; independent case preparation and implementation of intraoperative skills; and demonstration of employability skills. Topics include: metal heating and cutting principles, safety procedures, use of cutting torches and apparatus, metal heating techniques, metal cutting techniques, manual and automatic oxyfuel cutting techniques, and oxyfuel pipe cutting.
