6 laboratory hours 2 Credits Prerequisite: Permission of Division (Application required) This course is designed to foster and nurture an interest in teaching science at all K- 12 levels. Students are expected to work closely with science college faculty and local K-12 teachers to assist in planning and designing activities and lessons that are relevant to the state-mandated science curriculum for that grade and are meaningful to the students. Students will be selected to participate in this course by an application process and will be placed in K-12 classrooms based on their abilities and interests.
