This course is for students who have taken Calculus I, II and III only under the quarter system and want to finish the Calculus sequence under the semester system. Topics include vectors in the plane and space, partial differentiation, multiple integration, and discussion of differential equations. The student will attend the semester version of Calculus III, MATH 2123, for approximately seven weeks. 2-0-2.

MATH 2403 Differential Equations 4 Semester Hours Credit Pre-Requisite: MATH 1122, Area F Elective This course is an introduction to the basic ideas of ordinary differential equations. Topics will focus on methods for obtaining numerical and analytical solutions of elementary differential equations. Applications are also discussed with an emphasis on modeling.
