Major emphasis is given to the structure, bonding, properties, reactivity, and synthesis of hydrocarbons and alkyl halides. Other major topics include stereochemistry and spectroscopy.

A brief introduction to the biomolecules is also included.

Provides an excellent opportunity to understand, investigate and explore the Internet as well as how to use communications software to access the many resources available on the network. Topics include network fundamentals, Internet concepts, electronic mail, file transfer protocol (FTP), Telnet, Internet gophers, and information servers.

This course provides a basic introduction to the fundamentals of installing and maintaining microcomputers. The topics included in the course are identifying components, safety, installing options and memory chips, installing expernal peripherals, troubleshooting techniques, preventive maintenance, and repairing minor system problems.
