3 Credits 3 Class Hours Prerequisite: COM 101, BUS 101 Analyzing and solving business problems utilizing the computer: an in-depth look at various software packages focusing on the electronic spreadsheet and its uses in today's business world. The basic skills required for the use of the spreadsheet, including data entry and editing, manipulation and use of data-entering formulas, including the preparation of templates.

Hands-on experience in the building, searching, sorting, editing and modifying of the database, creating command files, and designing and developing database programs.

Critical analysis of price theory under conditions of perfect and imperfect competition, oligopoly, and monopoly. Applications to wages, profits, rent, and interest. Theory of consumer behavior. Practices of the individual firm. Economic growth and international problems.
