Topics include freedom of speech, confidentiality, right to privacy, obscenity, censorship and truth in advertising are explored through case studies and current media cases.

Research topics, sampling, measurement and case studies, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, and evaluation techniques as they pertain to mass media and communication.
