CVT 2843L: Cardiovascular Practicum IV 6 hrs

Prerequisites: CVT 2120L This course is the final clinical setting and is designed for students to gain additional experience and polish their skills in the cardiovascular lab. Students will independently perform all duties in peripheral/cardiac diagnostic and interventional arena. These duties range from patient prep and assessment, hemodynamic waveform analysis and recognition, all procedural equipment and sterile technique, scrub duties during diagnostic and interventional procedures, to post op patient care and hemostasis. Review for the RCIS exam will also be covered.
