Lessons cover history of the Internet; electronic communication; research strategies covering topic decision making using a variety of search statements, refining searches using Boolean terms, phrase, proximity, truncation and field searching;web search tools; evaluating websites and documentation of websites using Modern Language Association (MLA) standards.
