The student applies reimbursement methodologies and generates practice management reports for analysis using simulated medical office software along with supplemental lecture and reading materials. The student explores the strategies of managing and supervising all of the functions in a medical office such as the front office, the medical record, billing, compliance, documentation and risk management, legal issues, health and safety and outpatient services. A minimum of 3 hours of structured lab time per week is required.
