Student Qualifications: (1) A student must have at least a 3.00 overall G.P.A. at the time of registration to be eli gible to pursue independent study work and (2) can only do independent study work in a discipline in which he or she has already completed at least nine (9) credits of work at Dowling College. The different attitudes found in different cultures toward anger, sadness, happiness, and other emotions are discussed.
